Some nights, you don't need advice, answers, or another thing to think about. You just need a moment of peace. Life after breast cancer recovery can bring so many emotions. Sometimes our minds are busy with worries about tomorrow, things we cannot control, or questions we don't have answers to. But tonight, I want to remind you of something. It's okay to rest. You don't have to solve every problem tonight. You don't have to understand everything you're feeling. And you don't have to carry tomorrow's worries into this moment. God reminds us in Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God." Sometimes being still means giving yourself permission to stop, breathe, pray, and trust God with the things that are beyond your control.
🌷 Take a Peaceful Moment
Find somewhere comfortable and give yourself a few minutes. Relax your shoulders and unclench your jaw. Take a slow, gentle breath. Notice the things around you that bring you comfort. Release the pressure to figure everything out. Remind yourself: "Right now, I can allow myself to rest."
🙏 A Prayer for Tonight
Heavenly Father, Tonight, I come to You seeking peace. Quiet the worries that fill my mind and help me release the things I cannot control. Remind me that I don't have to have all the answers because You are with me through every uncertain moment. Help me rest tonight, knowing that tomorrow is another day and Your grace will meet me there. In Jesus' name, Amen.
💗 A Final Reminder
You've made it through today. Whatever tomorrow brings, you don't have to face it all tonight. Give yourself permission to rest and embrace these peaceful moments. With love and encouragement, The ABIII Awakening Beyond Illness Into Identity, providing support after treatment.
